ABOUT

I have always enjoyed when a butterfly would wander into our yard and it always made me happy.   But it wasn't until January of 2017, when my niece, Lauren Danielle Rocha, was killed by a drunk driver, that we decided we would plant a Butterfly Garden in her name and memory.  Lauren loved life and she loved butterflies, plus, her brother, Daniel, once told me "Lauren 'is' a social butterfly!"  So we decided to do some research to see what plants we would need in order to have a successful butterfly garden.  Through our search, we found the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) and after establishing our butterfly garden, we became proud members!

Lauren's Butterfly Garden is thriving and growing so much, not to mention the beautiful butterflies that come to visit every day - it's just AMAZING!  So here is the site I've created so that my fellow NABA members and all who loved Lauren can come and see photographs from around Lauren's Butterfly Garden!
